Grovebrook Drilling specialise in RAB, aircore and reverse circulation (RC) exploration drilling however, multi-purpose rigs such as their UM15 are available.

    TH75

    The TH75 drill rig is mounted on a Tatra 8x8 truck.  The rig is powered by K19 Cummins 660HP and has an onboard Ingersoll Rand 900/ 350 compressor coupled with a 2 x 900 x 350psi auxiliary’s and a M41 booster giving 1800cfm x 800psi.  The rig is equipped with a dump mast and is capable of drilling 500mtrs with 4½" rod string.

    T64

    The Schramm T64 is comprised of a 900cfm × 350psi compressor coupled with a 900cfm × 350psi auxiliary and a M41 booster giving 1800cfm × 800psi.  The rig is mounted on an eight wheel international and is capable of drilling 250mtrs with a 4½" rod string.

    T450

    The Schramm T450 comes complete with an on board 600cfm × 350psi compressor coupled with a 1,000cfm × 350psi auxiliary and M41 booster giving 1600cfm × 800psi.  The rig is also equipped with a dump mast and is capable of drilling 200mtrs with a 4½" rod string.

    UD78

    The UD78 is a heavy duty Airdrill, RAB, air core and RC rig mounted on a Nissan UD 6x6 all terrain truck.  It comes equipped with onboard 250psi/ 600cfm IR package dump mast and upright rod rack.

    UM15

    The UM15 is a heavy duty GMC 150 rig mounted on a Mercedes Uni-mog 4x4 all terrain truck.  It holds an onboard 400psi/ 800cfm IR package dump mast and upright rod rack.

    HYD 350

    The HYD 350 rig is mounted on an 8x8 Mercedes wide base truck. It holds a 1250cfm x 350psi compressor with Ingersol Rand HR2.5. Powered by a Cummins Diesel QSK 19-750HP. The rig comes with on board Hydco 8V92TA 1800/900 booster and is accompanied by a 1100 cfm x 350 psi auxiliary. The rig also has a Sandvick automated rod handler with capability to hold up to 200 mtrs of drill pipe on board and is equipped with a hands free automated breakout system with a wire line for down hole survey, capacity of 400mtrs x 6mm non rotating wire rope, heavy duty 2m mast dump feed system with pull back 19,000kg variable, pull down and 12,300kg variable. This rig is equppied with a dump mast, on board cyclone/splitter and is capable of drilling up to 400mtrs RC.
